This legendary, concise poem was composed 600 years ago by the extraordinary spiritual master and the founder of the Gelug tradition of Tibetan Buddhism, Je Tsongkhapa.

In this brief 15-verse poem, Je Tsongkhapa essentializes the vast and profound path of Buddhism into 3 vital points. Gaining an experience of these three aspects— the wish for freedom, the altruistic intention to be of ultimate benefit to others, and the wisdom realizing emptiness — will give us the psychological and spiritual tools we need to transform every aspect of our lives into a spiritual path with carefree dignity and joy.

In this retreat, Jigme Rinpoche will offer a commentary on this text based on teachings he received directly from His Holiness Dalai Lama.
